GET OUR KIDS TO COLLEGE FUNDRAISER APRIL 15, 2015
The Atlantic Community High School PTSA's inaugural fundraising event was a reception and silent auction in the vintage gym at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts at Old School Square. Proceeds from the paid college application fees for Atlantic students needing assistance with the aim of keeping Atlantic's college acceptance rate at 95% or higher and giving every student an opportunity to get a college education, regardless of their ability to pay application fees.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Eagle Nest III at 108-110 NW 12th Ave. was Thursday, Dec. 11. This project will be the third home to be built from the ground up by the Atlantic Community High School Construction Academy.

The Student Government Association (SGA) and People for Animal Welfare (PAW) Club presented a check for $1,000 to Don Ryce, the founder of the Jimmy Ryce Foundation, so the center can donate more bloodhounds like Kash to police departments across the country.

Atlantic Community High School International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme students participated in the Parkinson Foundation's annual Moving Day fundraising walk on Sunday, Nov. 10 at FAU stadium. These dedicated students have learned the importance of community and service through the philosophy of the IBMYP Programme and did a great job — setting up, assisting with sign-in and water stations, and most importantly, providing encouragement to participants at the event, billed as "a day to move, a day to move others, a day that moves YOU!"
