THE COMMUNITY CARING CENTER OF BOYNTON BEACH is seeking volunteers for the Delray Derby fundraiser on Saturday, May 7, at Spodak Dental Group, 3911 W. The All School Art Show features artwork created by all students in art classes this school year. The show is open during school hours in the Media Center lobby on Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, and is open to parents and the community on Thursday, April 21 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
The ATL PTSA will elect executive board members for the 2016-2017 school year at the last PTSA meeting of the school year, on Wednesday, April 27 PTSA at 5:30 pm in the media center. The Sandoway Discovery Center, Delray Beach Parks and Recreation, Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, and the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County are sponsoring the Great American Cleanup on the beach in Delray on Saturday, April 23. Check-in begins at 8 am at the Sandoway Discovery Center, 142 S. Ocean Blvd. Supplies will be provided and participants will earn community service hours. Offered in partnership with the University of Florida, Eckerd College and Flagler College the weeklong residential summer seminars combine concentrated college-level curriculum with hands-on activities and field trips.
