The Sandoway Discovery Center, Delray Beach Parks and Recreation, Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, and the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County are sponsoring the Great American Cleanup on the beach in Delray on Saturday, April 23. Check-in begins at 8 am at the Sandoway Discovery Center, 142 S. Ocean Blvd. Supplies will be provided and participants will earn community service hours. The Florida Humanities Council, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is offers three seminars to rising high school juniors and seniors.
