Carver Middle School needs 20 volunteers to assist with their first "Fun with Science Family Night" on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 5:30 to 8 pm. Fun with science includes interactive science activities, experiments, and demonstrations for students and their families.

The Band Booster organization is selling Enjoy the City Coupon Books. Palm Beach (and some Broward) coupon books are available for $20. Ten dollars per book goes to the band.

Purchase coupon books in the band room on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm or email us and we'll put you in touch with the band boosters.

The ATL PTSA calendar includes school district holidays and late start days and events specific to Atlantic Community High School. You can add events from our Google calendar to your own personal Google calendar by clicking on any event and then clicking on "copy to my calendar" in the pop-up box (as illustrated below, left).

Or you may add all events from the ATL PTSA calendar to your Google calendar by typing our email address ([email protected]) in the "Add friend's calendar" box under Other calendars (as illustrated below, right). You may need to click on the triangle to the left of "Other calendars" to make the box appear.

You can export events from our calendar into other calendar applications by clicking on this link to download a file that will import ATL PTSA calendar events into any calendar that supports the iCal format.

The city of Delray Beach and the Sandoway House are participating in the Ocean Conservancy's 29th annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, from 8 am until 10 am, at the Sandoway House Nature Center, 142 South Ocean Boulevard. Visit the Delray Beach Parks and Recreation website for a registration form and more information.

It's not too early to order your 2014-2015 yearbook. If you don't pre-order a yearbook, there's no guarantee that you'll receive one, so order now. And order before Sept. 30 to get the best price!
