Dear Volunteers: Today, the voters of Palm Beach County sent a strong vote of confidence for the work each of you do every day on behalf of our students. Voters approved our School District's referendum asking for the continuation of a 0.25 mill levy that was originally approved by voters in 2010. This funding will allow us to continue supporting more than 90,000 students in over 120 of our non-charter schools and 500-plus Arts, Music, and Physical Education teaching positions as well as Choice/Magnet programs. Today's vote confirms that the residents of Palm Beach County value public education and has confidence in our School District and each of you to deliver a world-class education. It is a combination of our community's support and your talents and dedication that make the School District of Palm Beach County Your Best Choice! Thank you for all you do for our students. Sincerely, E. Wayne Gent Superintendent JROTC AIR RIFLE TEAM TAKES FIRST PLACE AT DISTRICTS
