Students will receive their official individual reports by mail after Oct. 24.
Note from the school district: School district officials continue to have serious concerns using the 2015 FSA results to evaluate the performance of the students, teachers and schools because the test administration did not meet the expected standards of a high-stakes assessment program. A message from ATL administration:
Community, Parents, and Students: The district informed us today our home side bleachers are closed for the remainder of the season due to a safety concern. The good news: We are able to use our ATL home field for the two home games remaining this season, but seating will be limited. We are excited that Senior Night is tomorrow evening, Oct. 1, and our last scheduled home game is Homecoming on Oct. 22! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Tickets for tomorrow evening's game will go on sale at 5:30 pm. Thank You! Go Eagles! BI-NATIONAL HEALTH FAIR

Volunteers are invited to bring their gloves and join in the attack. Community service hours will be awarded. Orchard View Park is at 4060 Old Germantown Rd., off Linton Boulevard. Barwick Park is at 735 Barwick Rd., at the corner of Lake Ida and Barwick Roads. The mission of the Atlantic Community High School Parent Teacher Student Association is to COLLABORATE, COMMUNICATE and CONNECT. We aim to:
The SAC (School Advisory Council) is mandated by state law to oversee a School Improvement Plan (SIP) describing specific ways the school aims to increase student academic performance. Every public school in Florida has a School Advisory Council (SAC) as a result of a 1991 law aiming to increase student achievement and the effectiveness of public schools. SAC members include the principal, school staff, parents, students and community members and must be representative of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by each school. The SAC meets monthly during the school year (except November, December and March). Read more about the purpose and functions of School Advisory Councils on the school district website here and see meeting dates, agendas and minutes on the ATL SAC page on Edline. The Rotary Club of Delray Beach has selected Cameron Lee as Student of the Month and Ms. Sara Konash as Teacher of the Month for September. Cameron, an honor student in her fourth and final year at Atlantic Community High School, is president of the student government, captain of the softball team and an aftercare counselor at Galaxy Elementary School. Ms. Konash has been in the teaching profession for 17 years, six of which have been at Atlantic High School. She is head of the Art Department and an honored faculty member.
