All ATL juniors will take the SAT at school on March 2. The school district will register students and pay test fees. This is the actual SAT that will count for college admissions, so students will want to prepare.Register for Khan Academy's free SAT prep at SATPRACTICE.ORG where students can take a practice test on paper, scan their answer sheet on a phone, and get instant results. The site also includes study and test-taking tips, a daily practice app, video lessons and interactive problems with instant feedback.
Suits for Seniors aims to make a difference in the community by providing 100 tailored suits to graduating seniors at Atlantic Community High School. Students will receive more than just a suit — they'll take part in a ceremony and training workshops from professional life coaches and entrepreneurs so they can learn skills they'll need to build a future:

The Banyan Creek Elementary School Drama Club is raising funds to help students attend their Feb. 19 and 20 performances of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, regardless of their ability to afford tickets.
Drama club performers are fourth and fifth grade students, and backstage and house technicians are middle and high school students who are drama club alumnae. The shows are 100% performed and run by students! The presentation is open to the public, free for ATL PTSA members, $10 (or purchase a $5 membership) for others.
For more than 30 years, Ms. Robinovitz has successfully guided thousands of students and their families through the college planning and application process. She has written extensively on educational planning and test preparation, and has been a featured speaker at national educational conferences, schools, and places of worship. Ms. Robinovitz wrote the College Board’s first SAT-prep software and test-taking strategy chapters of the original SAT-prep books. She herself has scored a perfect 800 on all three sections of the test. As a founding faculty member of two private schools in Boca Raton, Ms. Robinovitz created college guidance programs and served as director of college guidance to the first four graduating classes of each school. Ms. Robinovitz founded the accredited Score At The Top Learning Centers & Schools to provide academic tutoring, SAT and ACT preparation, and courses for credit. Score At The Top staff provide schools around the county with on-campus SAT and ACT prep, college-admissions workshops, and in-service programs for teachers. Ms. Robinovitz is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the Higher Education Consultants Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the Secondary School Admissions Test Board, and the Learning Disabilities Association of America. She studied at the University of Connecticut, Rutgers, and Harvard, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, all with highest honors. Her professional life has been devoted to helping students achieve academic success. The library has new after-school hours — until 4:50 on Mondays and until 3:15 Tuesday through Thursday. The library opens at 7 am Monday through Friday, and is open during all three lunch periods. This is a great opportunity to study and/or use media center computers.
