The Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller’s office will have an orientation session for high school students who want to earn volunteer service hours with the office during winter break.
The orientation is at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 14, at the Clerk’s office administrative offices on the ninth floor of the Palm Beach County Governmental Center, 301 N. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach.
Students must be at least 15 years old to volunteer with the Clerk & Comptroller’s office, and must pass required background checks. Students between 15 and 17 years old will be required to submit a completed, notarized parental consent form.
Volunteers will learn skills such as proper business etiquette, data entry, and how to use courthouse software and office equipment.
