PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

QUALIFICATIONS

• Open to all High School Students age 15 to 18
  
• Desired but not required: a background in live theatre (either performing or technical) or visual arts (painting, sculpture etc.)
  
• Caring, bright, outgoing people who enjoy working with kids.
  

LENGTH OF COMMITTMENT
All Interns must be available for a minimum of one week.

INTERSHIPS AVAILABLE

• Summer : July 8 through August 2, 2013
  
• Winter & Spring: one week openings dates TBA
  

REMUNERATION
Positions are non salaried, although small stipend may be offered.
DBCA offers community service hours.

DUTIES
Interns serve the Center's KICKIN ARTS CAMPS as counselors to our boy and girl campers 6 to 12 years old. 

Our one week camps may include:

• Performing an original thirty minute musical play.
  
• Classes in Improvisation
  
• Dance
  
• Drumming
  
• Prop making, Costuming, Set decorating
  
• Voice
  
• Visual Art projects
  

All programs taught by professional directors and artists
